Revoked, suspended and surrendered are never shown for Spain: the DGOJ states the end of a licence in prose resolutions, and its sanctions register names fines, not licence statuses — neither is read as a status.

## What this register does not tell us

- We load the DGOJ’s state-level online licences only: one record per general licence (Apuestas, Concursos, Otros juegos), with the singular licences under it (Ruleta, Póquer, …) as its types. The state lotteries (SELAE and ONCE) are reserved by law and hold no DGOJ licence, and land-based and regional gambling is licensed by the autonomous communities — none of that is in our data. Not finding a Spanish site here is not a finding that it is unlicensed.
- The register publishes no licence numbers. The reference on our licence pages (for example in the API’s license_number) is one we made so the record has an identifier; no regulator issued it.
- Each operator’s DGOJ page lists its domains; we link each one to that operator.
